Very good old school hotel, with a good "in your own living room" feel. Very quiet at night and extremely clean. Very kind cleaning lady in an emergency! I would go back if ever in Gijon. Don't miss the lovely sea walk going to the RIGHT as you look at the sea. On the improvements side, I'd just say that reception staff need to be a bit more proactive in a crisis (though very nice when pushed)- and a couple of minor faults in the bathroom. Perhaps a tiny bit on the pricey side for mid January (72euros) for one person.

The staff in the cafe/restaurant were most welcoming, a good selection of food available, evening football matches showing there brought a fair few locals in too, which gave a nice feel. Varied and plentiful breakfasts, as good as we’ve had anywhere.

Perfect location across from the park and a short walk to San Lorenzo Beach. Our room was on the corner at the front of the building with a great view, the king size bed was super comfortable and the room had everything we needed!
